Abstract
A rapid, simple, and accurate UV derivative method for the simultaneou s determination of atenolol and nifedipine in dosage forms was develop ed. A new gaschromatographic procedure was also defined to convalide t he spectrophotometric procedure as an alternative method. Statistical analysis of the results on data from laboratory solutions confirms a g ood accuracy and precision of both the methods.
