Abstract
In the present paper, an estimation method for the effective reflectio n coefficient R from the surface of a thin titanium layer deposited on the substrate of carbon steel using the technique of de magnetron spu ttering, is presented. The estimation of the reflection coefficient co nsists in comparing the structural changes in the titanium due to both conventional and laser annealing.
