Z. Moldovan et al., HPLC METHOD FOR THE STUDY OF ANAEROBIC DEGRADATION OF POLYETHYLENE GLYCOLS, Journal of liquid chromatography, 18(8), 1995, pp. 1633-1646
This paper describes a rapid gradient reversed-phase high-performance
liquid chromatography method for the characterisation of PEGs, HO-(CH2
-CH2-O)n-H, in water. This method allows the routine analysis of a mix
ture of these compounds, in the range n=1-50 (up to PEG 1500) in unest
erified samples, at room temperature. The method has been used for the
study of anaerobic digestion of PEG-200 and PEG-300 in an one litre l
aboratory digester.
