Abstract
Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (CPC) was applied, for the first time, to the preparative scale separation of anthocyanins. The two maj or anthocyanins from Champagne vintage by-products, malvidin 3-glucosi de and peonidin 3-glucoside, were isolated in one step, using gradient elution with the TFA-acidified ternary solvent system ethyl acetate / 1-butanol / water.
