Abstract
A series of novel spirobenzopyrans containing the fluorescent label, 3 ,5-diphenyl pyrazoline substituent, in the position 7 of the 2H-chrome ne fragment, has been prepared. The compounds display high efficiencie s of the fluorescence (460-490 nm) and have a potential for applicatio n as negative luminescent materials for optical storage.
