Abstract
An experimental simulation using electrorheological (ER) fluid is deve loped to investigate the spatial configuration of the mitotic spindle. In the presence of two different hinds of electric field, the structu res of particle arrangement in ER fluid are similar to the configurati on of the mitotic spindle of the animal and plant cells respectively.
