Abstract
The paper deals with a brief history and general considerations of the measurement of dipole moments in chemistry. A novel method of measure ment is then described: the frequency of highly stable hf oscillator, which contains a measuring condenser as a part of its circuit, is dire ctly measured by frequency counter.
