Abstract
The synthesis and structural characterization of three new elementary chalcogenometallates is reported. The [(O)Nb(S-2)(2)(SH)](2-) and {[Nb (S)(3)](2)(mu-O)}(4-) anions have been obtained in the reactions of th e [Nb(S)(3)(S(t)Bu)](2-) anion with elemental sulfur and Et(3)N respec tively in the presence of water. The [(O)Nb(S-2)(2)(SB)](2-) anion rea cts with Et(3)P to give the [Nb(S)(3)(SH)](2-) anion. [GRAPHICS]
