Abstract
Values calculated according to the energy balance equation of phenomen ological thermomechanics have been compared with experimental data for Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe. The results obtained show that the internal energi es of these substances can be subdivided into separate components rath er accurately. (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Limited.
