Abstract
A 3-year-old female had fulminant hepatic and renal failure due to mas sive iron ingestion, despite gastric lavage, deferoxamine administrati on, hemodialysis and continuous arteriovenous hemofiltration. She unde rwent a successful emergency liver transplantation on 5th day after in gestion and was discharged 25 days later with excellent liver and rena l function.
