Abstract
A 30-year-old white female was diagnosed with gestational trophoblasti c disease in 1981. Despite an original World Health Organization score of 4 and initial aggressive combination chemotherapy, she was treated over a 9-year period with multiple chemotherapy agents and had underg one several operative procedures to remove metastatic lesions for pers istent disease. Long-term remission has now been obtained after four c ourses of etoposide, ifosfamide, and cisplatin. (C) 1995 Academic Pres s, Inc.
