Abstract
Alphacypermethrin (Fendona(R)) and lambda-cyhalothrin (Icon(R)) were e valuated against sentinel bloodfed adults and 4th-instar larvae of Aed es aegypti in a housing estate in Malaysia. The impact of both pyrethr oids on field populations of Ae. aegypti and Aedes albopictus were mon itored weekly using oviposition trap samples. Both alphacypermethrin a nd lambda-cyhalothrin showed adulticidal and larvicidal effects.
