Abstract
This paper analyzes two-exposure recording of the Fourier hologram of a diffusing screen by means of a microscope, using the Fresnel approxi mation. This method makes it possible to form shearing interferograms in infinitely wide fringes in the Fourier plane when the diffraction f ield is spatially filtered in the plane of the hologram.
