Abstract
The novel formation of anhydro-3-hydroxy-2,4-diphenyl-6-arylpyrylium h ydroxide in the reaction of 3-aroylaziridines with diphenylcyclopropen ones and their 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions with diphenylcyclop ropenone, N-phenylmaleimide, dimethyl fumarate, and dimethyl maleate w ere described.
