Abstract
Contributions of heat generation and heat management to the internal t emperature profile of the Li/SOCl2 cell have been analysed based on th ermal modelling. Some approaches are proposed, checked and used in hig h power Li/SOCl2 cells and batteries, showing improvements in their sa fety and performance.
