Abstract
Adsorbed bovine serum albumin was resistant to exchange with beta-lact oglobulin, and when albumin was adsorbed from a mixture, its surface c oncentration increased with time. The passivating character of adsorbe d albumin and its resistance to desorption were consistent with the le vel of Listeria monocytogenes adhesion evoked by albumin-containing pr otein films.
