Abstract
A new technique for the preparation of tubes and solid rods of stable quasicrystalline alloys in the Al-Cu-Fe system is described. The resul ting samples are suitable for experimental measurements that require l ong solid sections of material, including electrical transport, skin d epth and mechanical testing.
