Abstract
The synthesis of novel 1-alkyl or ted-1-piperazinyl)-1H-benzothieno[2, 3-d]imidazoles 7e-x starting from 2-nitro-3-bromobenza[b]thiophene is described. These compounds were prepared as potential H-1-antihistamin ic agents.
