CORRELATION CAPILLARY ZONE ELECTROPHORESIS, A NOVEL TECHNIQUE TO DECREASE DETECTION LIMITS

The application of multiple injections and correlation techniques in c apillary zone electrophoresis, a method known for its high detection l imits, is described. An experimental electrokinetic injection device, particulary suited for fast and reproducible multiple injections is us ed in combination with a conventional CZE system. The results show a c onsiderable reduction of the detection limit, in agreement with the ex perience in the already fully developed correlation chromatographic me thods, and in agreement with the theoretical predicted values.
