In this paper, the expansion of det(A + B + C) is given. The robustnes
s problem for discrete-time state-space systems with uncertain paramet
ers is investigated by applying the Schur stability theory of interval
polynomials. A stability robustness criterion for the uncertain syste
ms is derived. Illustrative examples are presented.
