Abstract
KTA is a crystallographic isomorph of KTP that shows promise for nonli near frequency generation throughout the 1-5-mu m region. We present u pdated Sellmeier coefficients for KTA based on measurements of the ref ractive index in the 0.4-3.6-mu m region. Predictions of phase-matchin g behavior by means of these coefficients agree well with experimental data.
