Abstract
Nonlinear optical infrared upconversion system using different nonline ar crystals has been reviewed. Different angular phase matching situat ions have also been discussed with emphasis on work in this laboratory . The noncritically phase matched mixed crystal infrared upconverter h as been explored and the temperature effect in AgCaS2 infrared upconve rter ha's been demonstrated.
