Abstract
Mono and dihydroxysubstituted-1,2-diphenylcyclopropanes were synthesiz ed by base catalyzed decomposition of the corresponding hydroxy substi tuted 3,5-diphenyl-2-pyrazolines which were the products of the reacti on between hydroxychalcones and hydrazine monohydrate.
