Abstract
A quick and safe CT image-guided stereotactic thalamotomy technique th at has proved ideal for alleviating medically refactory intractable pa in due to malignant disease is described. A simple method of deriving cartesian coordinates for target points that facilitates functional ne urosurgery using CT images and the Brown-Roberts-Wells stereotactic sy stem is also described.
