Abstract
NH3(CH2)(2)NH(CH2)(2)NH3 HPO4 2H(2)O an organic phosphate crystal with application in quadratic nonlinear optics, has been characterized in terms of refractive indices. AH collinear phase-matching (P.M) configu rations in the principal planes for second harmonic generation (S.H.G) are subsequently identified. This compound present two types (I and I I) of collinear phase-matching configurations for three-wave mixing in quadratic nonlinear interactions, corresponding to different polariza tion configurations.
