TECHNIQUE FOR CONSTRUCTING THE PULMONARY TRUNK FOR TETRALOGY OF FALLOT WITH PULMONARY ATRESIA

In expectation of the growth of a new pulmonary arterial trunk in tota l correction of tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia, we used pe dicled autologous pericardium combined with left atrial appendage as t he posterior wall of a new pulmonary arterial trunk. In cases of long discontinuity between the right ventricular infundibulum and left pulm onary artery, our technique could be recommended for early repair of t etralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia.
