Abstract
Magnetization and Kerr-effects have been investigated in four series o f Tb - Fe samples: amorphous TbxFe1-x (0 < x < 1) films and three seri es of Tb/Fe multilayers. Using the indirect method, the relation of th e interface constitution to the composition of amorphous films and to magnetic properties is proposed. It is shown that while the thickness of Tb layer is increasing, the quantity of Tb monolayers embraced by e xchange interaction of Fe grows, being gradually saturated.
