Abstract
The effect of all increase of interaction between charged impurities i n metal due to the resonance in the scattering of conduction electrons by the screened potential of the impurity has been studied. A conside ration given within the nonlinear theory of screening points to a cons iderable increase of the long-range interaction between the impurities when the resonance is near the Fermi level. The effect is evaluated f or the case of impurity atoms of 3d-metals in aluminium.
