Abstract
The photovoltaic response generation in Ag - As2S3 and As2S3Ag2.4 - As 2S3 contacts has been investigated with the aim to check the photoelec tric model of photostimulated silver transfer in As2S3 - Ag structure. It was stated that the photo-e.m.f. exciting spectrum of the As2S3Ag2 .4 - As2S3 interface correlated well with the spectral dependence of a photostimulated Ag flow. It is shown that the photohole flow in the r egion of a variable gap structure leads to the arising of electric fie ld of such direction and strength ( similar to 10(3) V . cm(-1)) that can transfer Ag+-ions into the undoped As2S3 layer.
