Abstract
The specification of the accelerator facilities complex of U-120 cm cy clotron is presented in this paper. The trends and possibilities of us e of fast particle beams are described. All attention is emphasized on operating conditions for heavy ions, which may provide a wide range o f investigations and technologies. The possibility of boron ion accele ration and also the practical use of boron implantation into various m aterials are investigated.
