Ibisia maroccana (Seguy, 1930) was found again at its Locus typicus (M
iddle Atlas, Morocco). The male adult is described for the first time.
The ecology of this species was studied in particular in NW Algeria.
I. maroccana is bound to wadis up to a maximum water temperature of 26
degrees C, with little human influences (the species is particularly
sensitive to NO2- and NH4+) and a good stony substrate stability (mode
rate flooding and low levels of suspended solids).
