Abstract
Time resolved fluorescence detection adds another dimension to chromat ography. Global analysis of the measured emission decay surfaces resul ts in reliable lifetimes and concentration profiles for unknown and se verely, up to completely, overlapping peak systems. The limits of the proposed algorithm are tested for three-component overlapping peak clu sters with respect to chromatographic resolution, lifetime similaritie s, relative concentration (minor components), and data noise levels.
