Abstract
During this work we have studied the critical parameters which are in direct relationship with the appearance of unstable pits before the st able initiation of pitting corrosion of stainless steel AISI430 and AI SI 430 Ti; we focused on electrochemical methods in either the potenti okinetic or potentiostatic modes.
