Abstract
The title compound crystallizes with four molecules in the asymmetric unit. They adopt a slightly bent conformation with quite extended perf luorinated aliphatic chain. The molecular arrangement is characterized by the segregation of the cores 4-cyanophenyl 4-benzoate on one side and the perfluorinated aliphatic chains on the other side. The molecul es give bilayer sheets, parallel to the xoy plane, the thickness of bi layers being equal to the c parameter. The interactions between the sh eets are quite weak.
