These last years, the attention paid to Streptococcus bovis infection in pigeons is considerably increasing. The authors present a review of the main biochemical caracteristics of this new potentially pathogen bacteria, its epidemiology, the clinical signs induce, the gross lesio ns, the diagnosis, the prevention and the treatment of this pathology. They also give their own experience about it.
