Abstract
The 5'-flanking region of the human ld2A gene between nt -1213 and +36 from the putative transcription start point was sequenced. Transient transfection studies showed that the region between nt -834 and +30 di rects the expression of a reporter gene and contains regulatory elemen ts responsive to serum and c-Jun/AP-1 over production.
