Abstract
A uniform distribution of the Pb-rich phase over the height of the ing ot for Al-Pb-X alloys is obtained applying the electromagnetic forces and the ultrasonic vibrations during the casting. The best combination of mechanical and antifriction characteristics was obtained for the a lloy Al-10% Pb-10% Sn-3% Cu in comparison with alloys Grade A09-1 (Al- 9% Sn-1% Cu) and Grade A020-1 (Al-20% Sn-1% Cu).
