Abstract
This report describes the dramatic diminution of chronic and severe se lf-mutilating behavior in a patient with borderline personality disord er in response to the atypical antipsychotic drug clozapine used in a dosage of 300 mg/day, after she had failed to respond to several trial s of other psychotropic medications and behavioral interventions.
