NEW SPECIES OF ARRENURUS DUGES (ACARI, HYDRACHNIDIA, ARRENURIDAE) FROM CHINA AND FIRST RECORDS OF WATERMITES FROM LAOS

Thirteen species of Arrenurus Duges, 1834 from S. W. China, Laos and B urma are examined, of which, A. (Arrenurus) dengi sp. n., A. (A.) jain gi sp. n., A. (A.) veliserratus sp. n., A. (A.) xini sp. n., A. (Micru racarus) bipetiolatus sp. n., A. (Truncaturus) athertoni sp. n., A. (T .) corpuscularis sp. n. and A. (Truncaturus) micropetiolatus sp. n. ar e new to science. New records of A. (A.) hamatus Lundblad, A. (A.) lib eratus Lundblad, A. (A.) pseudoaffinis Piersig, A. (A.) rouxi Viets, A . (Micruracarus) madaraszi Daday, A. (M.) pisciscaudapetiolatus Marsha ll are presented and the female of A. (Micruracarus) asiaticus Marshal l is described for the first time. Descriptions of the structure of th e petiole are given.
