Abstract
The energy spectra and angular distributions of proton emission in the reaction of Ni-nat(n,xp) at neutron energy 14.6 MeV have been measure d by the USTC multitelescope system. The double-differential cross sec tions of 16 reaction angles from 25 degrees to 164.5 degrees have been obtained in this measurement. The statistical error can be reduced be cause of the thick target used. The angular distributions show a sligh tly energy-dependent forward-backward asymmetry. The angle-integrated proton spectrum is compared with ENDF/B-VI evaluation and Grimes' resu lt. The total p-emission cross section is in fair agreement with predi ction and evaluation.
