Abstract
Research plot size and proximity limit postemergence application of no nselective herbicides close to single rows, between plots, and in alle ys. We had a wind-protected spray applicator built to Bt a four-wheel all-terrain vehicle. This equipment has proven versatile, practical, a nd economical for chemical control of weeds within 10 mm of plants spa ced 0.15 m apart in 0.6- to 0.9-m rows, and around research plots.
