Conducting reticulate doped polymeric films containing BEDT-TTF iodide
crystalline networks have been annealed in order to transform the cry
stallites into crystal phases with metallic conductivity. The microwav
e conductivity of these films was measured before and after annealing.
The temperature dependence of the conductivity changes dramatically w
ith optimal annealing temperatures and times. This change in the behav
ior corresponds to the transformation of the alpha-phase into the supe
rconducting alpha(t)-phase observed in (BEDT-TTF)(2)I-3 single crystal
s.
