Abstract
A mesoporous crystalline iron-containing MCM-41 molecular sieve is pre pared by direct hydrothermal synthesis; XRD, framework IR, ESR, UV-VIS and solid-state Si-29 MAS NMR spectroscopies provide evidence of iron (III)) incorporation into framework positions.
