Abstract
A stepped magnification stereo microscope and a stereo zoom microscope are designed and fabricated using a modular concept. A resolution of 4 mu m is achieved with both instruments. The design details are discu ssed. (C) 1997 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers.
