Abstract
This review covers research on physicochemical interactions and chemic al reactions of cellulose with urea and the development of methods, ba sed on these reactions, for preparing solutions suitable for forming h ydrated cellulose fibers. A detailed consideration is made of problems related to the structure and physical and chemical properties of urea .
