Abstract
Twenty five species of bryophytes are reported from the Alicante and A lmeria provinces. Some are new records for the SE of the Iberian Penin sula: Cynodontium bruntonii, Ditrichum cylindricum, Philonotis tomente lla, Plagiothecium succulentum, Pottia recta, Riccia sommieri, Scapani a calcicola and Schistidium flaccidum. Data about their chorology and ecology are given.
