Abstract
The generalized Rudin-Shapiro function psi is introduced to study the generalized Rudin-Shapiro sequence, where psi is a continuous (non-dif ferentiable) periodic function of period 1, oscillating between root q and (1+root 2)root q. The fractal properties of psi are discussed and the Box dimension and the Packing dimension of the graph of psi are d etermined.
