Abstract
Three fluorescent brightening agents (FBA), imides of 4-methoxy-1,8-na phthalic anhydride, have been synthesized, The compounds contained, in the N-substituent, a triazine ring containing a substituent with a po lymerizable centre, this allowing their copolymerization with styrene.
