Abstract
The literature concerning the treatment of bone spavin in the horse is reviewed, and the different definitions of this disease are mentioned . Since 1973, the fenestration technique has been used for the treatme nt of bone spavin at the Section of Large Animal Surgery at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University of Copenhagen. The results from 1985-1992 are presented here.
