Abstract
The low-temperature magnetization behaviour of ferromagnetic Fe73.5Nb3 -xUxCu1Si13.5B9 (X = 0, 1, 2, 3) and Fe73.5U4Si13.5B9 alloys in the am orphous and partially crystallized states was studied. The experimenta l data can be explained by means of the usual spin wave model. The spi n wave stiffness constant D, the range of the exchange interaction [r( 2)], the exchange constant A and the magnetic moment per Fe atom mu(Fe ) were determined. We have found that all these parameters are strongl y affected by the substitution of Nb and Cu by U atoms.
